The Pythagorean system
Our core calculators use the modern Western system commonly called Pythagorean numerology. It assigns letters A to Z to a repeating sequence of values from 1 to 9.
Letter values
A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7, H=8, I=9; then J begins again at 1. Spaces, punctuation and accents do not add numerical value.
Reduction
Multi-digit totals are added digit by digit until a core number remains. For example, 38 becomes 3+8=11. In core-profile calculations we preserve 11, 22 and 33 as master numbers.
Dates
For Life Path calculations, month, day and year are reduced separately, then combined. Personal Year calculations add the birth month and day to a selected calendar year and reduce to 1 to 9.
Where interpretation begins
The arithmetic is reproducible; meanings are traditional, symbolic interpretations. Numerology has no established scientific ability to predict events or describe personality. Use it as a structured reflection practice.
